Cristina has spent the past decade buying, consulting, and creatively advising established and emerging fashion brands, while passionately cultivating her retail e-commerce career.

In 2010 Cristina opened L’effrontée, a concept shop in downtown New York City that introduced over 30 accessory designers–including several exclusive styles–to the US market. In 2012 she joined e-commerce startup Anthem Wares as Buying Director where she discovered and curated the best new accessory labels in the market, and spearheaded website management.

Over the past several years,  Cristina has discovered, championed and collaborated with some of the best industry talent that has gone on to achieve both cult-status in the fashion world and mainstream commercial success. She has also introduced several international and domestic designers to the e-commerce U.S. market, many of whom are now being carried at leading retailers including Barneys, Moda Operandi, and Net-A-Porter.

Cristina has mastered the art of working seamlessly across fledgling, contemporary, and global luxury brands, always finding fresh ways to interpret her international insight and forward-thinking point of view. Her unique understanding of retail and flair for uncovering talent is adaptable to each client.



After spending over a decade in New York City collaborating with entrepreneurial fashion and luxury brands in the U.S. and abroad, Kate brings an impressive creative portfolio and a diverse skill set to L’effrontée Agency. Kate launched contemporary handbag line Kooba, oversaw a multi-line fashion showroom, coordinated women’s wholesale at Burberry, and lead a marketing team for luxury boutique hotels in East Hampton, NY and Eleuthera, Bahamas. She also has extensive experience as a casting director in the commercial and television industry for top networks in New York, Los Angeles and internationally. 

Kate Mack joins the L’effrontée team to oversee the press division and continue to build key relationships with publications, tastemakers and global outlets for the the agency’s roster of rising brands.
