Inspired by modern minimalism, LIBSA introduces the Fall 2017 collection with hues of blue, red and beige, in a uniform palette and color blocked combinations. Designed with iconic women of the 70s in mind, LIBSA's tailored suits and wide leg trousers evoke a Halston-esque vibe, with pieces that could have graced the bodies of Bianca Jagger, Lauren Hutton, or Jane Birkin. In an evolution from the LIBSA's first collection, the brand's eponymous bodysuits are back again, striking a balance of revealing and chaste in ultra-soft Japanese lycra.

For Spring 2017, the genesis of Nazy Fotoohi’s collection mimics the sleek and geometric composition of Italian architect Andrea Branzi’s 1969 Mies chair. Branzi was seen as a rebellious talent in his time, attributed to his role in the “Italian Radical Architecture Movement,” and celebrated for bringing adornment back to design. Fotoohi’s collection elegantly balances precise and playful. Two-tone metals compliment a fusion of tight curves and angular lines creating transparency through spatial cut outs; all the while, light and delicate against the skin.

Inspired by the 90's fashion of supermodels, pantsuits and midriff's, LIBSA introduces an envious set of bodysuits accompanied by interchangeable pieces that include a pair of cigarette pleated pants, wide leg trousers, tailored pencil skirt, and convertible short/skirt set. Each bodysuit is unique in how each has been dynamically cut and designed. The delicately balanced array of colors spanning from blush, mint, mustard, ivory, and black tones act in a soft and muted harmony and an assortment of lux Italian fabrics create a unique aesthetic that is both contemporary and sophisticated.

The collection launched on Moda Operandi for SS17 and has already been featured in major publications such as Vogue and WWD.
